Tracking Your Swimmer at Swimming Canada

If you have one or more competitive swimmers registered with Swimming Canada, then you can use the Swimming Canada web site to track their progress. Here is how you do it.

Go to the Swimming Canada web site at

Click the Login / Sign Up button on the right side of the screen.

If you have already created a MySwimming account, then log in using your ID and password and go to Logged in below.

Create an account

Click the Sign up button.

In the Create a My account dialog, enter your First Name, Last Name, and a valid email address (one that you have not used for other MySwimming IDs).

Use the check box to indicate whether you want to receive Swimming Canada news (this comes by email).

Follow the instructions to create your account.

Logged in

Now that you are logged in, pick the My Swimmers link. This will list your current swimmers, if you have any. Don't worry if the list is empty. You can add swimmers.

Add a swimmer by clicking Add a Swimmer.

To track a specific swimmer, enter the swimmer's first and last name and their date of birth and gender. You can follow any swimmer as long as you know these 4 pieces of information. Once you have successfully located your swimmer, click "Add This Swimmer. When you are done adding swimmers, click Close.

From this point on everything is fairly straightforward. You can look at reports for your swimmers to see what meets they have attended and how they did, etc.

If you ever forget your login ID or password, you can click Forgot your ID or Password?. Enter the email address that you specified when you created your MySwimming ID. Note that there is a glitch in the system. You should only have one MySwimming ID for each email address. If you create several IDs (i.e., for your kids) and link them to a single email address, the "Forgot" system will send an email with only the first ID and password.

Note that, at the time of writing, years earlier than the 2007-2008 season were not available.

Another Swimming Canada web site tool is the Canadian Power Rankings. Use this to compare your swimmer(s) against their peer group. The top 50 swimmers in each category are displayed.
